I’m Bethany Myers, an artist who creates in many directions, disciplines and subject matter. My interests are diverse. I probably should pick a lane and stick to it. Bird house project
The birdhouse was unfinished wood when I bought it and after priming I painted it as an abandoned house. I love painting architecture. I painted shingles, windows, etc. The part I’m most proud of is the wood planks. I cut up balsam wood and soaked it in boiling water with teabags and sprinkled coffee on top to make knotholes. It soaked over night.
